Travel CCU Registered Nurse – Rhinelander, Wisconsin
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Compensation: Up to $3,000 weekly (based on experience)
Position Overview
Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Travel CCU Registered Nurse for an exciting 13-week contract opportunity in Rhinelander, Wisconsin. This position offers the chance to work in a supportive environment at a top-tier healthcare facility while exploring the scenic beauty of northern Wisconsin. If you’re an experienced ICU or CCU RN with a passion for critical care and adventure, this role is for you.
Shift Details
• Shift Requirements: 12-hour variable shifts
• Weekend/Holiday Requirements: Every other weekend and every other holiday
• Float Requirements: Float to similar units within your skillset
• On Call/Call Back: None
Job Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive and compassionate nursing care to critically ill patients in the Coronary Care Unit (CCU)
• Assess, monitor, and manage complex cardiac conditions using advanced clinical judgment and critical thinking
• Administer medications and manage life-supporting therapies, including ventilators and cardiac drips
• Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary care team to coordinate and implement individualized care plans
• Utilize advanced cardiac monitoring equipment to evaluate and document patient progress
• Provide occasional care to pediatric surgical patients (ENT or orthopedic cases) as needed
• Maintain meticulous charting and documentation of patient care and progress
Qualifications Required:
- Active Wisconsin RN License (or Compact State eligibility)
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from AHA or Red Cross
• Experience:
- Minimum 2+ years of ICU experience required
- Prior Critical Access or Rural Hospital experience highly preferred
- Strong background in cardiac and critical care nursing
