Job Description

Local Food Service Worker – Days -  Philadelphia, PA
Contract Length: 12 Weeks
Weekly Compensation: Up to $810 (Based on Experience)

Connected Health Care, a trusted recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking a dependable and hardworking Food Service Worker for a 12-week local contract in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience in a healthcare or institutional food service environment while supporting a dedicated team.

Job Description:

  • Prepare and serve meals according to dietary guidelines and safety standards

  • Assist with meal setup, food portioning, and cleanup

  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen, dining, and service areas

  • Operate dishwashers and other kitchen equipment safely

  • Deliver trays to patients or facility residents as needed

  • Follow food safety and hygiene regulations consistently

  • Support kitchen staff and supervisors with daily operational tasks

Education and Certification Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred

  • Previous food service experience (healthcare setting a plus)

  • Basic knowledge of food handling and safety practices

  • ServSafe Certification preferred but not required

  • Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods

  • Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude
