Job Description
Job Title: OR Charge RN
Salary $135,000/yr
Department: Operating Room (Surgical Services)
Location: Greenvale, NY
Schedule: Monday-Friday, day shift; occasionally one Saturday per month; no major holidays.
Annual Performance Bonus: Up to $8,000 annually based on performance against objectives and metrics.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Minimum of 1 year of OR Charge RN experience
- At least 2 years of experience as an OR RN
- Strong preference for candidates with Orthopedic experience
- Current NYS RN license
Job Summary:
As the OR Charge RN in our operating room, you will provide leadership, guidance, supervision, and support to the Surgical Services team. You will also deliver direct and individualized nursing care to patients, applying scientific nursing principles as needed. Our multi-specialty Ambulatory Surgery Center offers a range of services, including ENT, Podiatry, Orthopedics, General Surgery, Plastics, Pain Management, and other surgical specialties.
