Job Requirements
- Education Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Certifications Requirements: Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist, NBCOT certification, BLS certification.
- Experience Requirements: Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a long-term care setting.
- Other Requirements: Strong communication skills, ability to work independently, and good organizational skills.

Job Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to residents in a long-term care setting, assessing their needs and developing personalized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal resident outcomes and adherence to care protocols.
- Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, and progress notes in compliance with facility and state regulations.
- Educate residents and their families on therapy plans, exercises, and adaptive techniques to promote independence.
- Execute treatment sessions during assigned shifts and adjust interventions as necessary based on resident progress.
