Job Description
Connected Health Care, a premier recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Occupational Therapist for a client in Scottsbluff, Nebraska.
Job Description:
- Assess Patients: Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine patients' functional abilities and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Develop Treatment Plans: Create and implement effective therapy plans to help patients regain independence and improve their quality of life.
- Therapeutic Interventions: Provide therapeutic exercises, activities of daily living (ADL) training, and adaptive equipment recommendations.
- Monitor Progress: Regularly assess patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs, adaptive techniques, and safety precautions.
- Collaborate: Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
Education and Certification Requirements:
- Graduate of an AOTA accredited school of Occupational Therapy.
- Current OT certification.
- Current BLS certification.
