Occupational Therapist (OT) – Boston, MA
Full-Time | Hourly Compensation: Up to $55/hr | School-Based Setting
Connected Health Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join a high-performing school district in Boston, MA. This is a fantastic opportunity for an OT who is passionate about helping students improve their functional and academic skills in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Job Responsibilities:

Conduct individualized assessments and evaluations to determine students’ needs related to fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living tasks.

Develop and implement individualized therapy plans that promote independence in the school setting.
-
Collaborate with teachers, special educators, speech therapists, and psychologists to integrate therapy into the classroom.

Provide direct and consultative therapy services in accordance with IEP goals.
-
Utilize adaptive equipment and assistive technology to enhance student success.
-
Monitor student progress and adjust therapy interventions as needed.
-
Participate in IEP meetings, team discussions, and professional development.
-
Educate teachers and parents on strategies to support students’ motor and sensory needs.
Qualifications & Requirements:
-
Massachusetts OT License required.
-
Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy.

Experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred.
-
Strong understanding of sensory integration therapy, fine motor development, and adaptive technology.

Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team and communicate effectively with staff and families.
