Occupational Therapist (OT) - 13-Week Contract - $2,400/Week - Skilled Nursing Facility
Connected Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) for a 13-week contract in a Skilled Nursing Facility. This role involves providing direct rehabilitation care to patients, adhering to all relevant laws, regulations, and company standards.
Position Summary: As an Occupational Therapist, you will deliver high-quality care in occupational therapy, following physician referrals. You will assess patients, create treatment plans, and work closely with interdisciplinary teams to help patients achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, assess, and modify occupational therapy treatment plans for patients.
- Supervise and evaluate the performance of OTAs, Rehab Aides, and students.
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation using therapy software.
- Exhibit excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude towards patients.
- Participate in community health projects as appropriate.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to compliance procedures.
Qualifications:
- NBCOT certification required upon hire (renewal optional).
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (BSOT or MSOT).
- Active and good standing OT license in the applicable state.
- Preferably, one (1) year of experience in a post-acute care or related setting.
- Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain during orientation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email.
