Occupational Therapist (OT) - 13-Week Contract - $2,400/Week - Skilled Nursing Facility

Connected Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) for a 13-week contract in a Skilled Nursing Facility. This role involves providing direct rehabilitation care to patients, adhering to all relevant laws, regulations, and company standards.

Position Summary: As an Occupational Therapist, you will deliver high-quality care in occupational therapy, following physician referrals. You will assess patients, create treatment plans, and work closely with interdisciplinary teams to help patients achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, assess, and modify occupational therapy treatment plans for patients.
  • Supervise and evaluate the performance of OTAs, Rehab Aides, and students.
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation using therapy software.
  • Exhibit excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude towards patients.
  • Participate in community health projects as appropriate.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to compliance procedures.

Qualifications:

  • NBCOT certification required upon hire (renewal optional).
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (BSOT or MSOT).
  • Active and good standing OT license in the applicable state.
  • Preferably, one (1) year of experience in a post-acute care or related setting.
  • Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain during orientation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email.
