Pay: $2080, per week
Job Description:
Connected Healthcare is looking for a dedicated Occupational Therapist for a 13-week contract position in a Skilled Nursing Facility. This role is ideal for a skilled therapist who is passionate about improving patient outcomes and contributing to a collaborative healthcare team.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and treat patients to enhance their daily living and functional skills.
- Complete accurate and comprehensive documentation of patient progress and therapy sessions.
- Plan, market, and develop new therapy programs to meet patient needs and facility goals.
- Communicate effectively with patients, their families, physicians, and staff to ensure a cohesive care approach.
- Present in-services and training sessions to fellow staff therapists to promote professional development.
- Assist in the overall operation and management of the therapy department.
- Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) in compliance with state regulations as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s (B.A., B.S.) or Master’s degree (M.A., M.S.) or Doctorate (OTD) in Occupational Therapy.
- Graduate of a certified occupational therapy program.
- Possess or be eligible for state licensure.
