Travel Occupational Therapist - 10-Week Contract near Tomahawk, Wisconsin

Job Description:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical, emotional, and cognitive needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve patients’ ability to perform daily activities.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and home exercises.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Provide compassionate support and encouragement to patients throughout their therapy journey.

Education and Certification Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Current Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Wisconsin or eligibility to obtain one.
  • Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Strong assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
