As an Oncology RN, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional cancer care in a dynamic, patient-centered environment. This permanent position offers a unique chance to specialize in oncology infusion therapy, working alongside a dedicated team committed to making a difference in patients’ lives through compassionate and expert care.

Required Skills:

  • Texas RN License and current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • ONS Chemotherapy-Biotherapy Provider Card
  • Minimum 2 years of dedicated oncology/infusion nursing experience
  • Proficiency in oncology assessment, vascular access device management, and peripheral IV starts
  • Experience with EPIC electronic health records (last 6 months) and Alaris IV pump usage
  • Strong attention to detail, patient-centered approach, and excellent teamwork skills

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Oncology certification (e.g., OCN)
  • Experience in outpatient hematology/oncology settings such as myeloma, lymphoma, and leukemia clinics
  • Knowledge of additional charting or equipment tools relevant to oncology care

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Registered Nurse with at least 2+ years of oncology/infusion nursing experience
  • Relevant certifications in oncology nursing or infusion therapy are highly desirable

Other Requirements:

  • No travel required
  • Ability to work 8-hour day shifts starting between 8:30 AM and 9:00 AM, with some flexibility based on unit needs
  • Commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality care in a busy outpatient clinic setting
  • Ability to work the scheduled 40 hours per week; hours not guaranteed during orientation or when the unit is closed
