Job Description:

• Provide direct patient care in the operating room setting.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain a sterile and safe surgical environment.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes in condition.
• Educate patients and their families about surgical procedures and post-operative care.

Education and Certification Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Mexico.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in perioperative nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
• CNOR certification preferred.
