Job Title: Full-Time OR Tech – Grants, NM 

Job Description: Connected Health Care is partnering with a reputable healthcare facility in Grants, NM, to find a Full-Time Operating Room Technician (OR Tech). Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and organize the operating room for surgeries, ensuring that all necessary equipment and instruments are sterile and ready.
• Assist surgeons and surgical teams during orthopedic and OB procedures by passing instruments and providing support as needed.
• Maintain a clean and sterile environment in the operating room before, during, and after surgeries.
• Monitor and check equipment for functionality, reporting any issues to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with patient positioning on the operating table and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
• Prepare, maintain, and sterilize surgical instruments and supplies.
• Document procedures and patient information in compliance with hospital protocols and regulatory standards.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and hospital policies for infection control, safety, and patient care.
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other medical professionals to ensure smooth surgical operations.

Education & Certification Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Surgical Technologist Certification (CST) or equivalent preferred.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• Previous experience in an operating room setting, with a preference for orthopedic and OB experience.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
• Knowledge of surgical instruments, sterile techniques, and operating room protocols.
