Job Title: Travel Orthopedics Registered Nurse (RN) - Madison, WI

Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Shift Availability: Night Shifts

Job Description:

  • Provide specialized nursing care to orthopedic patients in a hospital or clinical setting
  • Monitor and assess patients' conditions pre- and post-operatively
  • Administer medications, pain management, and perform wound care
  • Assist with orthopedic procedures and surgeries
  • Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
  • Educate patients and families about orthopedic conditions, treatments, and rehabilitation
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with hospital policies and protocols

Education and Certification Requirements:

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Wisconsin or compact state
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in orthopedic nursing preferred
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
  • Orthopedic Nursing Certification (ONC) preferred
  • Strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
