Job Requirements
- Education Requirements: Associate of Applied Science or Graduate of an accredited Radiology Program
- Certifications Requirements:
- American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT-R, ARRT-VI, or ARRT-CV)
- Texas Medical Board Certification (MRT)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
Experience Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of Interventional Radiology experience (Neurovascular and VIR)
Experience with ultrasound, fluoroscopy, and CT equipment
Proven ability to assist with complex interventional procedures
Other Requirements:
Ability to push or pull a minimum of 50 pounds
Strong walking and standing endurance (stand for up to 4 hours)
Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Job Responsibilities
- Provide assistance to physicians during interventional radiology procedures, ensuring all equipment and protocols are properly managed.
- Operate ultrasonographic, fluoroscopic, and CT equipment safely and effectively in support of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Prepare and maintain sterile procedure areas, ensuring compliance with safety standards and infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure efficient workflow and accurate documentation of procedures performed.
- Assist with patient positioning, preparation, and post-procedure care to facilitate smooth and successful interventions.
