Job Description: As a Clinical Dietitian, you will provide essential nutrition services to patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. You will work with the healthcare team to develop personalized nutrition plans that support recovery, improve overall health, and manage chronic conditions.
- Conduct detailed nutritional assessments for patients with various medical conditions, including diabetes, heart disease, and gastrointestinal disorders
- Develop individualized nutrition care plans based on patient needs, health goals, and medical history
- Provide ongoing education to patients and families about healthy eating habits, disease management, and lifestyle changes
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to optimize patient care and improve health outcomes
- Monitor and adjust nutrition plans based on patient progress and changing health needs
- Document all patient interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall care plan for patients in the facility
- Offer support and guidance to hospital staff regarding food and nutrition issues
Education & Certification Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field from an accredited program
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) Certification from the Commission on Dietetic Registration
- State Licensure as a Dietitian in Montana (or eligibility to obtain)
- CPR/BLS Certification required
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
- Experience in clinical nutrition, especially in hospital or outpatient settings, is preferred
