Per Diem Ultrasound Tech – 12-Hour Day Shifts – Big Timber, Montana
Connected Health Care is partnering with a well-established healthcare facility in Big Timber, Montana to find a Per Diem Ultrasound Tech for 12-hour day shifts. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to provide high-quality imaging services on a flexible, per diem basis in a beautiful Montana setting.
Job Description:
- Perform ultrasound procedures to produce high-quality diagnostic images of patients' internal organs, blood vessels, and tissues.
- Operate ultrasound equipment and ensure it is properly calibrated and functioning.
- Ensure patient comfort and explain procedures prior to imaging.
- Review and analyze images to assist physicians in diagnosing and evaluating conditions.
- Document all procedures and patient information in the EMR (Electronic Medical Record).
- Maintain a clean and safe environment in the ultrasound department.
- Follow established protocols to ensure patient safety and accurate imaging results.
Education & Certification Requirements:
- MT State Ultrasound Tech License required.
- ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certification preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Experience in ultrasound imaging is preferred.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Ultrasound Technologist.
- Strong knowledge of ultrasound procedures and techniques.
- Ability to operate and maintain ultrasound equipment accurately.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare team members.
