Travel Emergency Room RN – North Texas

Connected Health Care – Critical Access Hospital Partner
$60/hour | 13-Week Contract | Day & Night Shifts | PRN Available

Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking an experienced Travel Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to support one of our partner critical access hospitals in North Texas. This role is ideal for ER nurses who excel in fast-paced settings and are passionate about delivering exceptional care to rural communities across the region.

Position Details

  • Contract Length: 13 weeks

  • Schedule Options: Day shift, night shift, and PRN

  • Facility Type: Critical Access Hospital

  • Pay Rate: $60/hour

Responsibilities

  • Provide safe, timely, and high-quality emergency care to patients across all acuity levels

  • Triage patients, assess symptoms, and administer necessary medications

  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

  • Respond to trauma, cardiac, and other critical cases following hospital protocols

  • Complete accurate and detailed documentation for all assessments and interventions

Education & Certification Requirements

  • Active TX or compact RN license

  • Minimum 1–2 years of Emergency Room experience (rural or critical access ER experience strongly preferred)

  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS (TNCC preferred)

  • Strong clinical judgment and ability to perform under pressure
