Full-Time Pain Management Nurse Practitioner – Hobbs, NM
Connected Health Care, a leading healthcare recruitment and staffing firm, is partnering with a well-established medical practice in Hobbs, NM, to hire a Full-Time Pain Management Nurse Practitioner. We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and motivated NP to join a dynamic team dedicated to providing exceptional patient care.
Job Description
- Provide comprehensive pain management care to patients in an outpatient setting
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with acute and chronic pain
- Prescribe medications, including controlled substances, in accordance with state and federal regulations
- Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families on pain management strategies and wellness techniques
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Maintain accurate, timely, and detailed patient records
Education & Certification Requirements
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing (NP) from an accredited program
- Current Nurse Practitioner license in New Mexico
- National certification as a Nurse Practitioner
- DEA license for prescribing controlled substances
- BLS/ACLS certification
Preferred Experience
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in pain management, primary care, or related specialty
- Open to candidates willing to receive training in pain management
