Part-Time X-Ray Technologist – Salinas, CA
Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking a motivated and skilled Part-Time X-Ray Technologist to join our partner facility in Salinas, California. Job Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray procedures
- Prepare patients and equipment while ensuring safety and comfort
- Support CT department and cross-train as needed (CT training provided)
- Maintain accurate records in Meditech EMR (Epic transition in October)
- Adhere to all hospital and radiologic safety protocols
- Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to provide optimal patient care
Education & Certification Requirements:
- California X-Ray License – Required
- ARRT (R) – Required
- Fluoroscopy License – Required
- Willingness to train in CT – Highly preferred
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
Preferred Experience:
- At least 1 year of X-ray experience in a hospital or clinical setting
- Knowledge of Meditech; experience with Epic is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently on night shifts
