Locums Pediatric Nurse Practitioner - Pittsfield, Massachusetts

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive primary care services to pediatric patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care.

• Perform physical exams, obtain patient histories, and develop treatment plans.

• Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as lab work and imaging studies.

• Educate patients and their families on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions.

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of care.

• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.

Education and Certification Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Nursing with a focus on Pediatric Care.

• Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Massachusetts (or ability to obtain).

• National certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP).

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a pediatric clinical setting preferred.

• BLS/ACLS certification required.
