Job Description

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will:

• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients.
• Operate imaging equipment to perform diagnostic scans.
• Collaborate with physicians to analyze images and provide accurate results.
• Ensure patient safety by following all regulatory and procedural guidelines.
• Maintain and calibrate nuclear medicine equipment.
• Provide compassionate care and clear communication to patients during procedures.
• Document and maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Education and Certification Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field.
• Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-NM) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
• State licensure in California.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred, but new graduates with clinical rotations in nuclear medicine are encouraged to apply!
