Shift: Evening or Night shift, 3x12-hour schedule

Job Description:

• Provide direct nursing care in a diverse healthcare environment in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, plan patient care, evaluate outcomes, and adjust nursing care processes as necessary.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing protocols.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions as appropriate to care team members.
• Prepare and assist with diagnostic tests and clinical procedures.
• Maintain patient comfort and support human dignity in all aspects of care, respecting patient's cultural and religious beliefs.
• Participate in team conferences to discuss multi-disciplinary care plans and patient progress.

Education and Certification Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin.
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum of one year of recent MedSurg experience.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
