Job Description

• Analyze cellular samples to detect abnormal or cancerous cells
• Prepare, stain, and examine specimens under a microscope
• Collaborate with pathologists for accurate diagnostic outcomes
• Maintain laboratory equipment and adhere to safety protocols
• Accurately document test results and maintain records in compliance with laboratory regulations

Education + Certification Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Cytotechnology or related field
• ASCP Cytotechnologist certification (CT)
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Illinois
• Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
• Previous clinical laboratory experience is preferred
