Job Description:

• Perform complex laboratory tests and procedures with precision and accuracy.
• Analyze specimens, including blood, urine, and tissue samples, to detect abnormalities.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Collaborate with medical professionals to interpret test results and provide accurate diagnoses.
• Ensure compliance with laboratory safety protocols and quality control standards.
• Document and report test results in a timely manner using EMR systems.

Education + Certification Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field.
• ASCP (American Society for Clinical Pathology) certification required.
• State licensure as a Medical Laboratory Scientist in Ohio.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
