Permanent Director of Nursing (DON) 

Day Shift | 5x8s | 40 hrs/week | $85,000–$100,000 annual salary

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Director of Nursing (DON) to join a dedicated team at a reputable long-term care facility in Eagle Grove, Iowa. Schedule:
Day shift | Monday to Friday | 5x8s | 40 hours/week

Compensation:
Competitive salary between $85,000 and $100,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee all nursing operations and ensure high standards of patient care

• Supervise, mentor, and support the nursing staff

• Develop and implement policies and procedures in compliance with state and federal regulations

• Coordinate with physicians, staff, and administrative teams to deliver consistent care

• Monitor staffing, training, and scheduling needs

• Lead quality improvement initiatives and ensure regulatory compliance

• Manage departmental budgets and resource allocation

Education & Certification Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred

• Minimum of 2–3 years of leadership or DON experience in long-term care or similar setting

• Strong understanding of regulatory guidelines (CMS, state regulations)

• BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)
