Hospital Pharmacist – 5x8 Days – Valentine, NE

Assignment Overview:

  • Position: Pharmacist – Hospital Setting

  • Location: Near Valentine, NE

  • Schedule: 5x8s – Full-time, 40 hours/week

  • Setting: Critical Access Hospital

Job Description:

  • Accurately prepare and dispense medications in accordance with physician orders and regulatory guidelines

  • Provide drug information and support to physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals

  • Ensure proper storage and handling of pharmaceuticals

  • Monitor patient medication therapies and assess for drug interactions or contraindications

  • Maintain accurate records of medications and controlled substances

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to support optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications:

  • Active Pharmacist license in Nebraska (or eligibility to obtain)

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy (PharmD or equivalent)

  • Minimum of 2 years of hospital pharmacy experience preferred

  • Strong clinical knowledge and attention to detail

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
