Job Description

Compliance Officer – Day Shift – Port Angeles, WA

Job Description:

  • Lead and manage the organization's healthcare compliance program in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations

  • Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures to promote ethical practices and regulatory adherence

  • Conduct internal audits, risk assessments, and investigations to identify and mitigate compliance risks

  • Educate and train staff on compliance-related issues and best practices

  • Serve as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies and maintain up-to-date knowledge of evolving healthcare laws and standards

  • Collaborate with leadership to ensure ongoing quality improvement and legal alignment across departments

Education & Certification Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field preferred

  • Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) or related certification strongly preferred

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in healthcare compliance required, preferably in a leadership role

  • Proven knowledge of HIPAA, CMS, The Joint Commission, and other relevant healthcare regulations
