Med/Surg Registered Nurse - Full-Time Day or Night Shift

Connected Health Care, a Joint Commission Certified recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking a skilled Med/Surg Registered Nurse for a client in Mount Vernon, OH. This full-time position offers flexibility with day or night shifts available, making it ideal for nurses dedicated to providing comprehensive patient care.

Job Description:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in a Med/Surg unit, ensuring all treatments and medications are administered correctly.
• Monitor patient vital signs, symptoms, and progress, and communicate findings to the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions, post-operative care, and home care instructions.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with hospital policies and EMR systems.
• Provide compassionate support to patients and their families during challenging health situations.

Education + Certification Requirements:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN preferred).
• Current RN license in the state of Ohio.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification preferred.
• Experience in a Med/Surg unit or similar acute care setting is highly desirable.
