Respiratory Therapist - Full-Time Night Shift

Connected Health Care, a Joint Commission Certified recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist for a client in Mount Vernon, OH. This full-time night shift position is perfect for professionals dedicated to providing exceptional respiratory care in a collaborative healthcare setting.

Job Description:

• Assess and treat patients with respiratory disorders by administering oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, and other respiratory interventions.
• Monitor and evaluate patient responses to therapy, adjusting treatments as necessary.
• Operate and maintain respiratory care equipment, ensuring it functions properly and safely.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on respiratory conditions and the proper use of equipment.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation within EMR systems.

Education + Certification Requirements:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required.
• State licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in Ohio.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications preferred.
• Strong clinical skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
