Full-Time CT/X-Ray Technologist -Â Akron, OH
Connected Health Care is partnering with a top-tier healthcare facility in Akron, Ohio, to find a reliable and detail-oriented CT/X-Ray Technologist for a full-time role. Job Description:
- Perform high-quality CT and diagnostic X-ray imaging procedures as ordered by physicians
- Ensure proper patient positioning and safety during all imaging processes
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment and report any malfunctions
- Accurately document patient information and imaging results in electronic medical records
- Assist with contrast injections and monitor patients for any reactions
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret images
- Maintain compliance with all safety, radiation protection, and infection control protocols
Education and Certification Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- ARRT certification in Radiography (R) required
- ARRT (CT) certification preferred or willingness to obtain within a specified period
- Valid Ohio Radiologic License
- BLS certification required
- At least 1 year of experience in both CT and X-ray imaging preferred
