Clinical Investigator – Breast Oncology

Location: Boston, MA
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary Range: $255,670 – $534,220 annually
Sign-On Bonus: Negotiable
Relocation Assistance: Partial

Overview

A leading academic medical program in Boston is seeking a Clinical Investigator in Breast Oncology to join a rapidly expanding, multidisciplinary oncology team. This role blends clinical excellence with high-impact research, offering the opportunity to participate in and lead clinical trials while collaborating with laboratory-based investigators on both basic and translational research initiatives.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about advancing breast oncology care while also contributing to education and mentorship of students, residents, and fellows in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive clinical care in breast oncology

  • Participate in and/or lead clinical trials

  • Collaborate on translational and laboratory-based research projects

  • Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows

  • Engage in multidisciplinary program development and academic initiatives

Qualifications

Required

  • MD or MD/PhD

  • Board Certification in Medical Oncology

  • Licensed or eligible for medical licensure in the state of Massachusetts

  • Strong interest in clinical and/or translational research

Preferred

  • Prior clinical trial leadership or research publications

  • Academic teaching experience

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive salary range: $255,670 – $534,220
