Temp to Perm Physical Therapist – 8-Hour Day Shifts – Big Timber, Montana

Connected Health Care is partnering with a reputable healthcare facility in Big Timber, Montana to find a Temp to Perm Physical Therapist for 8-hour day shifts. This is a wonderful opportunity for a skilled Physical Therapist to join a dynamic team while providing compassionate care to patients in a scenic and peaceful Montana setting.

Job Description:

  • Provide physical therapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
  • Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other interventions to improve patients' mobility, strength, and quality of life.
  • Work with patients recovering from surgical procedures, orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions, and musculoskeletal disorders.
  • Educate patients on techniques for managing pain, preventing injury, and improving physical function.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care and recovery.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress in the EMR (Electronic Medical Record).
  • Provide guidance and support to patients during their rehabilitation process, ensuring goals are achieved.

Education & Certification Requirements:

  • Active MT State Physical Therapy License required.
  • DPT (Doctor of Physical Therapy) degree or equivalent required.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
  • Orthopedic or Neurological rehabilitation experience preferred.

Required Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist.
  • Experience with manual therapy, orthopedic rehabilitation, or neurological rehabilitation preferred.
  • Strong communication skills to work effectively with patients and a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Ability to manage patient caseloads and adapt treatment plans to meet individual needs.
