Location: Kellogg, Idaho

Job Description:

• Evaluate and treat patients within the medical-surgical units, providing physical therapy services aimed at improving mobility, relieving pain, and preventing or limiting permanent physical disabilities.
• Develop treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs, collaborating closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve the best outcomes.
• Maintain detailed patient records and provide documentation according to facility requirements.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment strategies and home exercises.
• Implement and adhere to standards of care and practice guidelines to enhance patient safety and quality of care.

Education and Certification Requirements:

• Master’s or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current PT license valid in Idaho.
• Experience in a critical access hospital with a focus on ED, Med Surg, and LTC preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
