Travel Physical Therapist - Plains, MT

Location: Plains, Montana
Shift: Flexible shifts available - 5x8-hour or 4x10-hour schedules

Job Description:

  • Evaluate and treat patients with various musculoskeletal conditions in a critical access hospital setting, involving ED, Med Surg, and LTC departments.
  • Develop treatment plans based on patient needs and goals, incorporating therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and other modalities.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary to ensure optimal recovery.
  • Provide education and guidance on physical therapy and rehabilitation to patients, families, and caregivers.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to provide integrated care.
  • Document patient care and outcomes in compliance with facility and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain a strong commitment to patient safety and confidentiality.

Education and Certification Requirements:

  • Master’s or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current physical therapy license valid in Montana.
  • Experience in a critical access hospital setting preferred.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Demonstrated expertise in clinical assessment, diagnosis, and physical therapy treatment planning.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate patients and work collaboratively with healthcare teams.
