Travel Physical Therapist – 12-Hour Day Shifts – Antigo, Wisconsin

Connected Health Care is partnering with a respected healthcare facility in Antigo, Wisconsin to find a Travel Physical Therapist for 12-hour day shifts. This is a great opportunity for skilled physical therapists to provide care and rehabilitation services in a supportive and patient-focused environment.

Job Description:

  • Provide comprehensive physical therapy assessments and treatment plans for patients with a variety of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment programs to promote mobility, strength, and functionality.
  • Educate patients on injury prevention, proper posture, and exercises to improve physical health and wellness.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Document patient assessments, progress, and treatment plans in the EMR (Electronic Medical Record).
  • Utilize various physical therapy modalities and techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities like heat, cold, or electrical stimulation.
  • Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and provide emotional support to patients throughout their recovery.

Education & Certification Requirements:

  • Active Physical Therapist License required.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited physical therapy program required.
  • Previous experience in a hospital or outpatient setting preferred.

Required Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience as a Physical Therapist required.
  • Experience in musculoskeletal and neurological rehabilitation.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with patients and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to varying patient needs and settings.
