Job Requirements

  • Education Requirements: Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assisting or an equivalent recognized program.
  • Certifications Requirements: Montana PTA license, CPR certification, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Experience Requirements: Minimum of 1 year PTA experience, preferably in SNF settings.
  • Other Requirements: Ability to work flexible hours including weekends if needed, excellent interpersonal skills, and reliability in documentation and charting.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality PTA services to patients in rehabilitation settings, ensuring personalized care plans are followed.
  • Collaborate with supervising Physical Therapists and healthcare team members to coordinate patient treatment and progress.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, treatment sessions, and progress notes using Point Click Care / Net Health systems.
  • Execute patient mobility and functional training exercises to promote recovery and independence.
  • Support facility compliance with licensing, safety standards, and best practices through diligent charting and communication.
