Connected Health Care – Critical Access Hospital Contract
Contract: 13 Weeks
Shift/Schedule: Day Shift | Monday – Friday, 8:00a–5:00p | 5x8s
Pay: $45/hr
About the Role
Connected Health Care is seeking an experienced Travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a Critical Access Hospital in Junction, Texas. This contract opportunity offers competitive pay, a supportive team environment, and the chance to make a lasting impact in a close-knit rural community.

Responsibilities

Assist Physical Therapists in implementing treatment plans tailored to patient needs.

Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, and functional mobility activities.

Monitor and document patient progress, reporting changes to supervising PT.

Educate patients and families on therapy techniques for at-home care.

Maintain compliance with hospital, state, and federal regulations.
Requirements

Associate’s Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.

Active Texas PTA license (or eligibility).

Current BLS certification (AHA preferred).

Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in an inpatient, outpatient, or critical access setting.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.
