Job Title: Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) - Hospital Setting
Location: Hobbs, NM
Connected Health Care is partnering with a leading hospital in Hobbs, NM to hire a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) for their team. As an FNP, you will provide primary care to patients of all ages in the hospital setting.
Job Description:
- Conducting physical exams and taking medical histories
- Diagnosing and treating common illnesses and injuries
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests
- Developing treatment plans and prescribing medications
- Providing patient education and counseling
- Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records
Education and Certification Requirements:
- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Active and unrestricted state NP license in New Mexico
- Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) by a recognized national certification organization
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1-year experience working as an FNP in a hospital setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
