Job Description

Mobile NP / Travel Advanced Practice Provider – Madison, Wisconsin

Also known as: Traveling Nurse Practitioner, Per Diem APP, On-Call NP, Field Nurse Practitioner

We’re hiring a Traveling Nurse Practitioner to deliver part-time, on-call clinical services throughout the Madison, WI area. This role is ideal for an experienced NP looking for flexible hours in a 10-hour/week, as-needed capacity with autonomy in patient care.

If you have wound care experience and a commitment to quality service, this opportunity offers meaningful patient interaction without the burden of a full-time schedule.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct mobile visits across Madison to evaluate and treat patients

  • Coordinate with administrative teams and fellow NPs via phone regarding documentation and care

  • Provide wound care and chronic condition follow-ups in accordance with medical protocols

  • Ensure accurate, timely charting in EMRs

  • Maintain professional standards and confidentiality in all interactions

 

Qualifications

  • Active Wisconsin Nurse Practitioner license

  • 1–2 years of clinical experience in a Nurse Practitioner role

  • Background in wound care treatment and management

  • Independent worker with strong organizational skills

  • Driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle

Education & Certifications

  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing

  • AANP or ANCC board certification

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

  • DEA registration (preferred)
