Job Description:

• Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care to patients, including prenatal care, labor and delivery, and gynecologic surgery.
• Perform routine and complex gynecological procedures, such as hysterectomy, laparoscopy, and colposcopy.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated and multidisciplinary care for patients.
• Participate in on-call rotation for obstetric and gynecologic emergencies.
• Educate patients on reproductive health, family planning, and preventive care.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives within the department.
• The practice breakdown is approximately 50% GYN-50% OB, with flexibility for the new physician to create the desired mix of cases.
• Opportunity to perform subspecialty cases, including high-risk OB, reproductive endocrinology, GYN oncology, and urogynecology, with backup from subspecialists within a few hours.

Education and Certification Requirements:

• Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Board certification or eligibility for certification by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Active medical license in the state of Montana or ability to obtain licensure.
