Job Description

As a Registered Nurse on the night shift, you will play a critical role in providing top-notch patient care and support during crucial hours. Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department or Med/Surg unit
• Assessing patients' conditions, creating care plans, and administering medications and treatments
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care
• Monitoring and interpreting patients' vital signs and taking prompt action in emergency situations
• Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring adherence to medical protocols
• Offering emotional support to patients and their families during challenging times
• Participating in educational programs and staying updated with best practices in nursing

Requirements

To excel in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) with intent to pursue BSN
• Active RN license in Colorado or compact state licensure
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in either the Emergency Department or Med/Surg unit
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
• Strong clinical and critical-thinking skills to handle diverse patient needs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to foster a positive patient experience
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
