Dialysis Nurse Manager – Permanent RN Leadership Role – Day Shift – Valentine, NE

Position Overview:

  • Title: Dialysis Nurse Manager – RN

  • Location: Near Valentine, Nebraska

  • Schedule: 5x8s, Monday – Friday

  • Shift: Day Shift

  • Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time

  • Start Date: Within the next few months

Job Summary:
The Dialysis Nurse Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the dialysis unit, ensuring compliance with clinical standards, supporting nursing staff, and delivering high-quality care to patients with chronic and acute kidney conditions. This position provides a unique opportunity to lead a dedicated team in a close-knit rural healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise all aspects of dialysis unit operations

  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and ongoing support to dialysis nursing staff

  • Coordinate patient care and ensure adherence to regulatory and clinical standards

  • Collaborate with physicians, technicians, and other departments to optimize outcomes

  • Maintain proper documentation and quality assurance practices

  • Monitor supply inventory and assist with budget management

Qualifications:

  • Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state

  • Minimum 1 year of nurse leadership experience (Dialysis or Medical-Surgical setting)

  • Dialysis nursing experience strongly preferred

  • BLS and ACLS certifications required

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

  • Passion for rural healthcare and patient-centered service
