Connected Health Care is looking for a Radiology Tech for a full-time opportunity at an acute-care facility in Carlsbad, NM. The role comes with a salary of $80,000 and excellent benefits. Openings are available in MRI/CT/XRAY.

As a Radiology Tech, you will perform radiology procedures on ambulatory and hospital patients as requested by a physician or other licensed provider for the diagnosis of disease and injury in accordance with established protocols. Some on-call may be required. This position is open to new graduates of ARRT-R Radiography.

During your first few weeks in this Radiology Tech role, you can expect to take on some of the following:

• Perform high-quality radiology proceures, according to exam protocol, in a timely manner
• Maintain production and quality of imaging procedures by following established standards and procedures
• Prepare the patient and area for the procedure by positioning, adjusting immobilization devices, moving equipment into specified positions, and adjusting equipment controls to set exposure factors
• Protect patients and employees by adhering to safety requirements, infection control, drug and radiation policies, protocols, and techniques

To apply for this Radiology Tech role, you will need to graduate from an accredited program and have a minimum of one year of experience preferred. You will also require:

• ARRT-R Radiography
• Ability to explain the procedure and put patients at ease
• Able to provide timely, accurate, and cost-efficient services in compliance with established System and Regulatory standards, policies, and procedures
• The ability to perform tasks independently without the need for routine oversight
