Job Description:

• Perform diagnostic imaging examinations on patients, including X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, and mammograms.
• Ensure equipment is properly maintained and calibrated for accurate imaging results.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and treatment plans.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a sterile environment during procedures.
• Document patient information and imaging results accurately in electronic medical records (EMRs).
• Educate patients on procedures and answer any questions or concerns they may have.

Education and Certification Requirements:

• Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification.
• Valid state licensure as a radiologic technologist in California.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
