Travel Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) – Night Shift
Location: Near Jefferson, IA
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shifts: Night Shift | 3x12s or 4x10s
Setting: Critical Access Hospital

Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm specializing in healthcare placements, is currently seeking a Travel Radiologic Technologist to join a respected critical access hospital near Jefferson, Iowa. This is a great opportunity for professionals who are passionate about patient care and looking to make a meaningful impact in a rural setting.

Job Description:

As a Radiologic Technologist, you will perform diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring quality imaging and patient safety. You will work collaboratively with radiologists, physicians, and other medical professionals to assist in diagnosis and treatment.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate X-ray and other imaging equipment to perform diagnostic exams

  • Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures

  • Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment

  • Ensure proper patient identification and documentation

  • Follow all radiation safety procedures and protocols

  • Assist in maintaining inventory and cleanliness in imaging areas

Qualifications:

  • ARRT Certification (R) – Required

  • Iowa Radiologic Technologist License – Must be active or in process

  • BLS Certification – Required

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a hospital setting preferred

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently during night shifts

  • Experience in a Critical Access or rural hospital setting is a plus
