Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking a skilled Travel X-Ray Technologist to join one of our trusted healthcare partners in Huron, South Dakota. This exciting opportunity is ideal for an imaging professional looking to advance their career, earn competitive weekly pay, and experience the charm of the Midwest.
Job Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Compensation: Up to $2,250 per week (based on experience)
Location: Huron, SD
Job Description:
As a Travel X-Ray Technologist, you will perform diagnostic imaging examinations to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients. You’ll work in a fast-paced hospital environment, ensuring the highest standards of care and patient safety while delivering precise, high-quality radiographic images.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures as ordered by physicians
- Position patients correctly and operate radiologic equipment safely and effectively
- Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment as required
- Evaluate radiographs for image quality and accuracy
- Follow radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure accurate results
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient documentation
Education and Certification Requirements:
- ARRT (R) certification required
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Active state license (if applicable)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
- Previous hospital or clinical experience strongly preferred
