Job Description
Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist – Laurium, MI
Contract Length: 8 Weeks
Weekly Compensation: Up to $3,300/week (based on experience)
Connected Health Care, a premier recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking an experienced Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for one of our partnered healthcare clients in Laurium, Michigan. This is an excellent opportunity to advance your career while enjoying the unique charm of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.
Position Highlights
- Shift Requirements: 8-hour days, starting at 7 AM with occasional flexibility
- Weekend/Holiday: No weekends required
- On Call/Call Back: No call requirements
- Contract Length: 8 weeks
- Weekly Pay: Up to $3,300/week depending on experience
Job Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of nuclear medicine procedures using advanced imaging equipment
- Prepare, administer, and document radiopharmaceuticals according to protocols
- Ensure patient safety by adhering to radiation safety standards and department policies
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to deliver high-quality diagnostic results
- Maintain accurate records and utilize EPIC and Philips iSite PACS systems for charting
- Provide compassionate patient care and clear instructions throughout procedures
Education and Certification Requirements
- ARRT (N) or CNMT certification required
- Current AHA BLS certification required
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- Proficiency in EPIC and Philips iSite PACS charting systems
