Job Description
Position: Full-Time Cardiac Sonographer
Location: Montrose, CO – Commutable from Grand Junction (approx. 1 hr 15 min)

Key Responsibilities
- Perform transthoracic, exercise stress, dobutamine, carotid, venous, and arterial echocardiography studies
- Optimize imaging techniques to acquire high-quality diagnostic data
- Record and document all findings accurately for physician interpretation
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and understanding during procedures
- Maintain equipment and follow quality control protocols
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members
- Adhere to organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
- Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities
Education and Certification Requirements
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
- ARRT registration or Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) credential preferred
- One year of experience preferred but not mandatory
