Position: Full-Time Radiologic Technologist
Bonus: $30,000 Sign-On Bonus
Shifts: Days, Evenings, Nights (All shifts available)
Schedule: Flexible scheduling available (overtime, holidays, and on-call as needed)

Position Overview – Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray)
The Radiologic Technologist performs high-quality diagnostic radiographic procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and adherence to radiation protection standards. This role requires strong technical skills, clinical judgment, and the ability to work flexible hours including overtime, holidays, and on-call shifts as needed.

Radiologic Technologist Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations in accordance with physician orders
  • Operate imaging equipment and digital PACS software
  • Ensure accurate patient identification and proper positioning
  • Follow ALARA radiation safety principles, including Image Wisely and Image Gently guidelines
  • Prepare and administer contrast procedures as required
  • Maintain imaging quality assurance standards
  • Monitor and maintain department inventory and supplies
  • Support workflow and assist in the absence of a supervisor
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives and continuing education
  • Serve as a resource and preceptor for students
  • Assist as Clinical Coordinator when needed
Education & Certification Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited radiography program required
  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required
  • Active Connecticut State Radiology license required
  • Strong knowledge of radiographic examinations, contrast studies, radiation safety, and patient positioning
  • Ability to work flexible hours including overtime and call
